Manager/Supervisor

  • Bonus structure tied to Performance Metrics
  • Paid factory and OEM training
  • Paid holidays and paid vacation
  • Healthcare benefits
  • 401(k) with company match

  • Long-term career path within a growing multi-store group

What the Job Looks Like Day to Day

  • Manage daily parts department operations including counter sales, special orders, and internal fulfillment for service

  • Develop and coach parts counter staff on accuracy, speed, customer communication, and internal service support
  • Coordinate with Service on day to day operations — we operate as a team with parts and service, not as independent departments
  • Monitor stock order utilization and ensure parts availability aligns with service demand and repair order volume

  • Review daily and monthly financial performance; present results to ownership and Fixed Ops Director
  • Ensure compliance with OEM parts policies, warranty parts retention requirements, and return procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professionally run parts operation

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of controlling obsolescence and improving turns without sacrificing fill rate
  • Strong working knowledge of parts department financials and DMS reporting
  • Experience developing and holding a parts team accountable
  • OEM brand experience preferred; Ford, Jeep, or Ram experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and a clear communicator with both the service team and Fixed Ops leadership
  • Able to handle vendor relationships, backorder escalations, and internal conflict resolution professionally

If you've worked your way up through a parts department and are HUNGRY for the next level in your career, or if you are a seasoned Parts Manager with a proven track record of building a clean, efficient, high-performing parts operation — our organization is designed for employees to stay and become family. We don't want to hire managers, we want to RETIRE them. If you're looking for a place to call home, this is worth your time.

Farris Family Group of Dealerships is accepting applications for an experienced Parts Manager for one of our East Tennessee locations. We are one of the oldest family-owned dealership groups in the country — operating since 1929 — and consistently recognized as a top-performing service operation in the region. A shop that runs at this level only stays there when parts is doing its job. We don't hire managers to babysit inventory. We hire leaders to own it, optimize it, and make sure service never slows down waiting on a part.

This role has real authority, real accountability, and real earning potential. If you want a title without responsibility, this isn't it. If you want to run a department, grow a team, and be compensated for results, let's talk.

Only motivated individuals need to apply. This position is not a desk job. Daily coaching, training, and accountability with your team is a MUST to maintain the vision.

More than "experience" we hire for drive, motivation, and a winners mindset.
