Professional dealership, automotive detailing, car wash, body shop, reconditioning, or similar experience can be helpful.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the difference between simply cleaning a vehicle and professionally detailing one.
What You'll Do
As an Automotive Detailer, you will:
- Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors
- Wash, dry, and prepare vehicles for delivery
- Vacuum and thoroughly clean vehicle interiors
- Clean windows, dashboards, consoles, door panels, and interior surfaces
- Shampoo and clean carpets and upholstery when needed
- Clean wheels, tires, and exterior surfaces
- Apply appropriate cleaning and detailing products
- Remove stickers, residue, and other materials as needed
- Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for the sales lot
- Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery
- Help maintain dealership vehicle appearance standards
- Identify cosmetic issues that need additional attention
- Keep the detail area clean, organized, and safe
- Properly maintain detailing tools, equipment, and supplies
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards

- Interior reconditioning
- Stain removal
- Carpet and upholstery cleaning
- Paint decontamination
- Machine polishing
- Buffing
- Waxing and paint protection
- Headlight restoration
- New and used vehicle reconditioning
may qualify you for higher starting compensation within our $15–$25 per hour range.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Work on your feet for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, reach, and move around vehicles
- Work indoors and outdoors as needed
- Safely operate detailing equipment
- Perform physical automotive cleaning and detailing tasks throughout the workday
- Work in changing temperatures and weather conditions when necessary
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required because this position involves moving dealership and customer vehicles.
