Service Department Scheduler
Service Department Scheduler/Coordinator- The purpose of this position is to increase the service traffic of the dealer by handling inbound service calls, making outbound calls and producing solid and specific appointments for the service department, thereby increasing revenue.
Job responsibilities include:
- Handling a high number of inbound telephone calls to set and schedule customer appointments for multiple locations.
- Asking strategic questions to determine which service department can best serve the guest.
- Dialing outbound scripted telephone calls to new prospective clients and Service Reminders.
- overcoming objections.
- Determining the needs of the guest via telephone and recommending appropriate service with the goal of setting a service visit.
- Confirming service appointments to ensure high show ratios.
- Composing professional emails to current and potential customers.
- Verifying/updating customer contact information on each call
- Using several computer systems at once, on multiple monitors

Ideal applicant would have:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Automotive Knowledge would be helpful
- Exhibit a high degree of professionalism
- Possess strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and internet proficiency
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to learn
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a drive to achieve results
- Automotive industry experience is helpful, but not required
